Kirsten Brooke

Kirsten Brooke (KB) is a creative director, educator, hair stylist, make up artist and model. She has worked with and learned from beauty industry icons including Nicholas French, Phillip Wilson, Sue Pemberton, Vivienne Mackinder, Heggy Gonzalez and Aveda. Her work has been published by Aria Beauty, Lucire Global Fashion Magazine, FADDY, Pure Design Magazine, Ohio Bride, Wedding Day Magizine, and more.

Currently, Kirsten works as the Creative Director for Industry Salon and 501 Salon & Spa mentoring and educating. She is focused on collaborating and enhancing the midwest as a creative hub. Her growing creative team consists of 10 hair and make up artists.

She began her career at the Aveda Fredric's Institute. There, Kirsten fell in love with the world of beauty and wellness. Fashion inspired projects caught her eye during her time at Aveda. After self producing photoshoots with a local photographer, she decided to pursue editorial hair styling. In Chicago, she began her career as a senior stylist and apprentice to an Aveda color educator and curl specialist. Kirsten quickly became immersed in editorial hairstyling, but added another unconventional twist to her career. She wanted to give back to the industry by providing education to beauty professionals. 2021 brought the opportunity for Kirsten to join the elite Aveda Color Purfessional Education Team. In addition, Kirsten has traveled world wide and all over the United States pursuing her passion for session styling.

She was named Southeast Hairstyling Awards Avant Garde Hairstylist of the Year (2021), Midwest Hair Awards Newcomer Nominee (2019),Professional Beauty Association Beacon Winner (2018), and Mentor (2019) and is continuing to ignite her competition career.
